Towing guidance
This is a typical 3,500-pound single-axle utility trailer. Plan on a 2" hitch ball and a Class II or higher receiver with a working 4-pin or 5-pin lighting plug.
Your vehicle's door-jamb or owner's manual lists the real tow rating. That number — not the trailer's axle stamp — decides whether you should tow. Payload, tongue weight, and brakes matter more than engine size.
Check the hitch is tight, the coupler latch is pinned, safety chains are crossed under the tongue, jack is fully up, and lights work before you leave Lancaster Road.
